Prakash Agarwal immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1972 to pursue his higher studies. He holds BS/MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Prakash has been very active in local and global charities through his private foundation, “The Agarwal Foundation”, and serves on the board of several non-profit organizations both in USA and India.

Prakash has over 30 years of engineering, marketing and general management experience in the semiconductor, mobile computing, multimedia, digital imaging, digital video, wireless communications, mobile TV broadcast, and consumer electronics.  Prakash has been recognized by several awards. Most notably he was awarded the 1998 Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” for excellence and extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to his business and his community.
