"High school students from the U.S. will get an eye-opening three-week experience while working at the ground level with the tribal adults and tribal school children to understand the complexities of health, education, and social issues facing the Hemalkasa community. They will observe how dedicated volunteers spend their life in service to the community in a display of how small efforts by everyone bring a higher sense of altruism in this materialistic world. We hope that students return impressed with all they learn and with an understanding of how some communities in India overcome adversity.”
