ICA held a forum in collaboration with IIT Kanpur foundation at the India Community Center (ICC) on May 25th, 2024, featuring Dr. Anil Rajvanshi and his wife, Dr. Nandini Nimbkar. Serving as the director and president of the Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) respectively, the couple has worked tirelessly to bring sustainable energy and agricultural practices to rural populations in India. They have received numerous accolades for their efforts. Notably, Dr. Rajvanshi received a Padma Shri in 2022. Dr. Rajvanshi detailed his educational journey and work in pioneering the ethanol lantern, gasifier, and electric rickshaw, among other projects. Dr. Nimbkar outlined the evolution of NARI from a small seed company to a prominent agricultural institute. The event was very insightful and engaging for all.
