Payment Information FAQ
There are two payment areas. One is the International Ticket, which will be independent and dealt with by the airline/reserving agency.
The second part is the expense for the actual time of stay, transportation in India and related expenses. For this portion of the trip payment, please contact the Youth Team on how to pay or send in a check for the deposit and final payment to ICA at the address: 1111 West El Camino Real #133-295, Sunnyvale, CA 94087, USA.
What you can learn from the Program

The program is aimed to provide the participants a view into the culture, traditions, and beliefs of a community on the other side of the world. The overarching goal is to return with a well rounded picture of the NGO, knowing and having participated in all aspects as best as possible

The program introduces the participant to the daily life and daily challenges faced by the communities served by the NGOs in the hope to broaden the perspective of our youth participants.

The program will introduce a culture of giving and sharing for a social cause.

Understanding various issues faced by humans in the global community and how they are and can be addressed will be a big takeaway.

The ability to be in harmony with nature and the environment for a social purpose will be introduced.

Participants can see for themselves how simple common problems can be solved and can contribute to any solutions that might help to address the needs of the NGOs.

Learning to use time and opportunities will be a key aspect of the program.

Participants can share learning in areas of civic, science, and technology that can better the lives of the local community and share what they know about areas that they see can help. Just spending time in the environment and with the students will also be an opportunity to learn and share.

Experiments, exercises, solving puzzles, and quizzes can be great ways to share learnings.

Lok Biradari Prakalp Visit FAQ
Dr. Prakash Amte and his wife Dr. Mandakini Amte, founded LBP in 1973 with the help and blessings of his father, the well-known social activist, Baba Amte, in the dense jungles of Hemalkasa, for the holistic development and empowerment of Madia, Gond, and other tribal inhabitants, with a dream of making them self-sufficient and responsible citizens, aware of their rights and capable of standing for them. With the motto as “Work builds, charity destroys”. LBP believes in working as a catalyst for sustainable change within the community through healthcare, education, and environmental awareness, built on 45 years of a strong relationship. We will visit LBP in 2023.
